BELFAST - The City of Belfast could soon offer more for people who need to use wheelchairs.

Former Mayor and City Councilor Mike Hurley says the City has tennis courts and all kinds of sports facilities for people who can use them but they don't have a lot to offer someone in a wheelchair.

Hurley says he wants to change that.

He is working on a plan to add a wheelchair accessible swing to the Belfast Harbor Walk.

" I'm now talking with a lot of people who are either in wheelchairs or have family in wheelchairs and they are really excited so we don't want.... this isn't going to happen next year. We want to get this done," says Hurley.

The town of Dexter already has a wheelchair swing and Hurley says he is consulting with them as well as the Belfast City Council.
