SAN ANTONIO — A 52-year-old San Antonio man could be sentenced to five years in prison after federal officials say he pleaded guilty to threatening President Donald Trump ahead of a recent visit to Texas.
Trump came to the Hill Country on July 11 to meet with local leaders in the aftermath of the deadly Independence Day flooding . The fact that a shooter was able to get so close to the former president while he's supposed to be closely guarded has raised questions about security plans.
