HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FLA (WFLA) - On Wednesday morning, Hillsborough County Commissioners debated two ordinances related to pickleball noise following a lawsuit out of Apollo Beach.

Residents of the Andalucia community have sued their Homeowners Association following a notice that clay tennis courts will be renovated to pickleball within feet of existing homes.

"You have a right to have a peaceful home," said Robert Davi, an actor and resident of the Apollo Beach community.

"It's going to ruin everything we signed up for. The sound is like a pneumatic nail gun on a roof. So imagine a roofing contractor next to your house hitting that nail gun 100,000 times a day for 12 hours," said Greg Jolley, another resident of the community.
