ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Nearly a month after a shooting took the life of a 14-year-old boy on the University of New Mexico's campus, the university is taking steps to boost campus safety. At Tuesday night's meeting, the Board of Regents approved $2.6 million in upgrades to update UNM's campus-wide alert system, but they're not stopping there.
