ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM)--- Organizers of the Arnez Project are hosting a Unity in the Community event on Saturday, August 23.

"This is an event to first of all introduce the community to the Arnez project, which is a movement to honor my brother Arnez Nater, who lost his life tragically to overdose. We're honoring his name while also raising awareness for other people," said Cyril Ellis and Arthur Williams, Event Coordinators.

The main goal of the event is to encourage people to rise above the devastating impact of drug addiction and overdose through education, advocacy, and support.
