LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Formula 1 officials have filed a lawsuit accusing two Las Vegas gift shops of selling counterfeit merchandise.
The lawsuit alleges that the gift shop sold counterfeit merchandise containing the company’s trademarks, including F1, Formula 1 and Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Investigators found the unauthorized merchandise during the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix at Crazy Ely and Bonanza Gift Shop, adding that 69 counterfeit items were seized from Crazy Ely on Nov. 17, 2023, the lawsuit claims.
