COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - New reaction following a discrimination complaint against The Columbus Consolidated Government.

That complaint to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission comes from fired former Columbus City Manager Isaiah Hugley and his attorney. We hit the streets to find out what people in the fountain city think about it.

According to the EEOC Complaint Isaiah Hugley says he was unlawfully terminated. Attorney Scott Grubman states some Columbus City Council members along with some city and county employees developed a plan to defame and frame the longtime city manager.

“I think it’s ridiculous, it’s him grasping at straws for the most part.” says Columbus resident Sarah Smith.
