COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A man and woman were arrested after allegedly selling a stolen car in Marietta.
According to the Columbus Police Department, Ashley Herring and David Parr were arrested in connection to a stolen 1973 Nissan Datsun 240SX.
Police report that the vehicle was stolen from a residence near 17th Avenue in Columbus on July 23. According to officials, the car belongs to the victim’s late father.
Herring was arrested on July 24, and after police searched her phone, they discovered that she and Parr sold the vehicle in Marietta using a forged Bill of Sale and the identity of Herring’s deceased mother.
The stolen vehicle was located and recovered on Aug 4, according to officials.
