Heat and humidity are finally returning to normal levels for this time of year, and now it looks like the pendulum may swing a bit the other way and bring us cooler than normal temperatures next week.
The National Weather Service office in Paducah is calling for the arrival of high pressure from the north that will cause temperatures next week to be in the upper 70s for many locations.
In addition, some spots could experience our first morning lows in the upper 50s in months.
Dry conditions are also settling in for the next seven days. No form of hazardous weather is anticipated.
