MUNCIE, Ind. — It's a new era for Ball State football as Mike Uremovich looks to reconstruct the culture within the program.
"I've been fortunate to be part of a couple of these where you get to come in and make your mark," Uremovich said.
Getting to that mark begins in the offseason. Uremovich's traits have already been standing out to the team.
"He's a servant leader," Cardinals starting quarterback Kiael Kelly said. "He poured so much into us and we felt it from day one. Ever since he's came in, he's been honest with everybody and people just responded well to everything he's thrown at us."
Uremovich has two key philosophies for a successful program: Running the ball and stopping the run.
