NORTH CHARLESTON – Once again, a man who has dedicated himself to stemming gun violence in the four years since his daughter was killed feels the justice system has failed to adequately punish the people responsible for her death.
Ronjanae Smith, 14, was fatally shot and a dozen others were injured in May 2021 when several young men opened fire at each other across a large crowd that was celebrating the end of the school year at a concert.
