DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Many students unpacked their belongings and set off for a new adventure.
University of Minnesota Duluth began its new student orientation Welcome Week on Wednesday, which means new students move into their student housing through Thursday.
Joe Hazelton, Director of Housing and Residence Life, said that they have nearly 2,000 students moving in at that time.
He said that the student housing is near capacity.
“We don’t know the final statistics on our enrollment,” Hazelton said. “Those will be known later in the semester. We’re really feeling good about the momentum that we’re seeing on campus and that suggests strength and positive growth.”
