YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- A Maryland man allegedly tried to rob a York County bank Monday afternoon while holding a bag that said "radiate positivity," police say.

Court documents filed Thursday by Southern Regional Police show, 39-year-old Brandon Lyle, of Maryland, tried to rob the M&T Bank, located at 69 E. Forrest Avenue in Shrewsbury Borough, but he left without getting any cash.

After reaching out to the FBI during the investigation, police said they learned Lyle was a suspect in another robbery in Maryland that happened about a week and a half before the York County one.
