Tulsa police are investigating another violent attack at Turkey Mountain after a woman reported being raped late Monday night.
It marks the second random attack at the popular nature area in less than a month. City leaders say safety upgrades are underway as police continue their search for the suspect.
The latest attack
Police say the woman was walking near a trail overlooking the skyline around 10 p.m. Monday when she was assaulted. Officers are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity to contact investigators.
Last month, a woman jogging in the park was stabbed multiple times in the face. She survived.
Police response
Tulsa police say patrols will increase immediately. Helicopters and drones are being used to monitor the area while detectives follow up on leads.
