NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Wednesday marked a significant step of progress for the Tennessee Titans’ secondary and one of its veteran leaders.
Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed was activated from the team’s physically unable to perform (PUP) list and therefore passed a physical to be cleared to practice.
It was the first time Sneed practiced with the team since last fall.
“It’s a very big release,” Sneed said of returning to practice. “Just coming out here and being a part of everybody as a whole and not just in there rehabbing all the time, it’s a big deal.”
Sneed played in just five games last season. He injured his hamstring and then his quadriceps, which was enough to land him on injured reserve for the rest of the season.
