PINEVILLE, La. (KALB) - There’s a lot of new surrounding this year’s Pineville Rebels. Most importantly, new energy.
“It’s all hype right now, and I love it,” Pineville senior running back Ayden Tate said. “The energy is high, everybody’s excited, and they’re ready for the season.”
This offseason, the Rebels promoted defensive coordinator Justin Charles to be their new head coach. Charles had previous head coaching experience in Cenla at Menard and LCU.
“You learn different things from the past of what to do and what not to do,” Charles said. “I’ve taken a lot of things from the College aspect and molded it into here.”
On the offensive side of the ball, the Rebels will rely heavily on Tate, who ran for over 1,000 yards during his junior season.
