The teachers' union of the state of Táchira and the people of Zulia supported the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and for the peace of the country, but they rejected the escalation of the United States.
In Táchira state, teacher Sandro Gómez stated, "We educators in Táchira will not allow an empire to come and undermine the peace that President Nicolás Maduro has achieved through democracy."
For her part, Angela Pereira expressed concern for children in the face of threats from the US empire. "The representatives call us and express their concern about the threats from the United States; they feel threatened. We reject these threats against a country of libertarians and peace."
