Vying for the representative seat in Arizona’s seventh congressional district, candidates Adelita Grijalva and Daniel Butierez faced off in a forum hosted by the Patagonia Regional Times on Saturday.

Kicking off the forum, Republican candidate Butierez said he previously faced a wrongful conviction, which he said the state acknowledged 30 years later. He also noted that he overcame a drug addiction and homelessness, and now owns two companies as a painting contractor. ×
