ELYRIA, Ohio (WJW) - Elyria firefighters responded to a house fire that broke out in the city on Wednesday evening.
The Elyria Fire Department received the 911 call for a possible house explosion around 7 p.m., Elyria Fire Chief Joseph Pronesti told FOX 8 News.
Crews found heavy fire when they arrived at the scene on Marseilles Avenue.
A witness shared the photo above, showing heavy smoke billowing from the structures.
According to the fire chief, one house was destroyed in the blaze. A neighboring home and a car were also damaged.
There were no reported injuries in the fire, which remains under investigation at this time.
