SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - Sedgwick County's Board of County Commissioners approved next year's budget after facing an over $2 million shortfall.
"Today was a successful day. We were able to find a balance between the services we provide, the stability with our staffing," said Chairman Ryan Baty. "We were able to reduce property tax mill levy, which is something that we've heard loud and clear from our community: that's what they desired."
