DERBY, Kan. (KAKE) – Derby firefighters are advising residents to use caution while using a popular kitchen appliance after recent fires.

The Derby Fire and Rescue says crews responded Wednesday to the 800 block of Westview Dr. for a reported appliance fire. Firefighters arrived to find an air fryer burning on a glass cooktop.
