A man has been sentenced to 22 years in federal prison for preying on a vulnerable child her met at a park in Duluth, and later sexually abusing her.

On Wednesday, Dillon Alvan Reyna, 33, was sentenced in U.S. District Court. Following his time in prison, he will have to serve 15 years on supervised release.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Reyna met a girl under the age of 16 at a park in Duluth in October 2022. He reportedly knew she was vulnerable and had been receiving care for prior sexual abuse, but used gifts and rides to coerce the victim into having sex with him.

He used social media to communicate with her, filming the sexual abuse without her consent and using physical force during the sexual assaults.
