CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (WECT) - Camp Lejeune and New River are implementing the REAL ID Act as of Sept. 1.
Contractors, vendors, suppliers, service providers, and visitors will be required to use Real ID and undergo vetting at the Visitor Control Center.
Alternate forms of identification can still be used, and officers will issue a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) credential or paper pass.
