YOUNGSTOWN Youngstown Mayor Tito Brown announced in a news release on Wednesday that a request has been submitted for the purchase of two brand-new fire trucks.
Mayor Brown and Fire Chief Barry Finley announced that legislation has been submitted to the Youngstown City Council to authorize $2.1 million to be used in the purchase of the fire trucks.
The trucks would be used by the Youngstown Fire Department.
According to the release, the investment reflects the administration's commitment to modernize critical infrastructure and strengthen public safety for Youngstown residents.
