Dez Bryant might be a former foe of the Philadelphia Eagles, but the one-time Dallas Cowboys receiver is not shying away from his positive opinion of his ex-rival.

Recently, the Eagles made a trade to acquire the Houston Texans' wide receiver John Metchie. As one NFL fan attempted to downplay the acquisition, considering Metchie a player who "hasn't been good in the NFL ," Bryant came to defend Philadelphia's new acquisition.

"You clearly don't know football," Bryant said on social media .

"Metchie been in unfortunate situations that had nothing to do with his play.. health issues and emerging WRs in Houston," he added.
