BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - It’s a tough thing to hear — a diagnosis of cancer.
For one Coast mother, her mass was on her brain.
It was earlier in the year when Oya Rhodes learned the news and now shares her story, which she says is a miracle.
Rhodes says, “I was on life support for a week and my mom was told to pull the plug on me, but the day she was supposed to, I actually woke up from the medically induced coma.”
Rhodes, a 29-year-old mother of four, learned of an aggressive mass on her brain back in January. However, her discovery of this tumor actually began at the eye doctor.
