GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) - Special meetings were held after the Gulfport City Council failed to come to an agreement on the agenda for its August 19 meeting.

Two single-item special meetings were called to address critical items from the previous day’s agenda.

Special Meeting 1

Special Meeting 2

The single item in the second meeting proposed a date for a public hearing of the city’s proposed budget as well as a proposed tax increase.
