Appleton American Legion Post 38 raises money for Old Glory Honor Flight with brat fry

APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - Appleton American Legion Post 38 hosted a brat fry extravaganza on Wednesday night to raise money for Old Glory Honor Flight.

The group hosts popular brat fries on their grounds every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For Wednesday’s benefit, they decided to extend the hours to 7 p.m. and are directing all proceeds to the Old Glory Honor Flight.

Organizers set the ultimate goal of raising more money this year than was raised last year, with last year’s event raking in $7,500.
