HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A lawsuit alleges Ward sexually assaulted a woman and was believed to be high on meth-- all while their 3-year-old son was inside her home.
Instead of finding the football on defense, Texans Safety Jimmie Ward now finds himself at the center of a civil lawsuit after being arrested twice in two months.
According to a lawsuit filed in Harris County, Ward is being accused of both physically and sexually assaulting Cristy West multiple times this year.
It says West and the Texans' defensive back were together for years and share a three-year-old son.
Court records show Ward was arrested on June 12 for a domestic assault charge. While investigators didn't provide specific details at the time, according to a lawsuit, he barged into West's home in Montgomery Co
