DENVER (KDVR) — A group of residents is trying to save a historic farmhouse near Washington Park in Denver.

According to a GoFundMe post, the group of neighbors is raising money for a Landmark Designation application for the corner home at 800 Franklin Street.

The post says organizers have attained the initial goal, but feel more funds will be needed down the road.

The narrative also implies that, without the Landmark Designation, the home could be earmarked for demolition.

A call to the GoFundMe organizer was not immediately returned. You can find the GoFundMe here.
