DENVER (KDVR) — A train derailed in Kiowa County on Wednesday evening, but there were only sparse details about the crash.
"We are investigating the incident but have no information to share at this time," a spokesperson for Colorado Pacific Railroad told FOX31.
The crash reportedly happened after 4 p.m., about a mile east of Chivington in Kiowa County, with over a dozen train cars derailed along Highway 96.
The cars appeared to be carrying grain in photos and video provided by a FOX31 viewer.
