LITTLETON, Colo. (KDVR) — Businesses along South Pierce Street in Littleton were left to run their generators yet again on Wednesday.

“Every time it does come back on, we're thinking maybe they got it fixed, maybe they figured out the problem. Maybe the engineers got their act together and figured out what's going on, but no,” owner of Columbine Bar and Restaurant Kenneth Katzenmeier said.

But it is not just the businesses that are without power; 2,344 total Xcel Energy customers were without power Wednesday, leaving neighbors in the dark.

After being left with no air conditioning on a hot August day, some, like Dana Schoenecker, stopped by Columbine Bar and restaurant just to escape the heat.
