PORTAGE, Wis. (WKOW) — Bond is set at $10,000 for a Portage police officer accused of hurting his child and wife. Court records show he is now prohibited from contacting them.

According to the criminal complaint, Cameron Coronado is accused of shoving a pacifier down his six-month-old's throat, threatening his family, and more . He faces charges of child abuse and disorderly conduct with a domestic abuse modifier.

Coronado is due back in court on September 3 for a preliminary hearing.
