Aug. 5 — Jakob Michael Obrien, 26, of Mars, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a May 27 crash. Police said Obrien had a THC vape cartridge, suspected crushed dextroamphetamine, two marijuana grinders, two marijuana jars and a THC topical balm.

Aug. 12 — Michael Jacob Leibovitz, 28, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a July 5 traffic stop. Police said Leibovitz showed signs of impairment. Butler Twp

Aug. 11 — Sherry Lynn Sell, 55, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor false alarm following an Aug. 11 incident. Police said Sell falsely reported a fire. Cranberry Twp
