LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — The City of Henderson is reimagining Boulder Highway.

A major multimillion-dollar road improvement project is underway within city limits to modernize the historic highway that once helped get workers from Downtown Las Vegas to construct the Hoover Dam.

The city says the goal is much more than improving road safety, it is about bringing life businesses and homes back to the corridor. A major commercial project just moved forward Wednesday evening.

“One of the biggest things residents are asking us to do is bring more eating opportunities into the area. There is just a limited number of those opportunities now,” Lee Farris, President of the LandWell Company told FOX5.
