After 4 days of dense cloud cover, we are beginning to see clearing skies over parts of the Midstate this evening. Clearing skies continue overnight as dry air wraps around the exiting Hurricane Erin and pushes dry air from New England southward into PA.
Friday should be pleasant, although warmer, behind Erin as sinking air promotes dry weather and sunny skies. Saturday should be pleasant and seasonable with highs in the mid-80s. The next chance for some unsettled weather looks to come on Sunday as a front moves through with some scattered showers and thunderstorms.
