Coastal flood advisory in place for 3 N.J. counties for Friday

At 3:53 p.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued a coastal flood advisory valid for Friday between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. for Hudson, Essex and Union counties.

The weather service adds, “If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.”
