Frederick to send warning letters to candidates about campaign finance reports

The city of Frederick plans to send letters to some candidates in the coming election who have financial reports that are not in order, the city clerk said.

“If there’s something that just doesn’t add up, the first step is to send a letter,” City Clerk Phyllis Hane said. “They can then submit an amended report.”
