In late 2022, Goodwill Industries of Monocacy Valley and local veteran organization Platoon 22 partnered to open a new veteran center in Frederick, offering a number of services, from mental health support to career readiness.

Platoon 22 is now set to split from the Platoon Veteran Services Center at Goodwill by the end of September after Goodwill terminated the initial agreement between the two organizations.
