Unfortunately, in autonomous and experimental universities, progressive sectors that openly fight against the new neoliberal fascism uncritically accept the competency-based curriculum. They fail to reflect on the epistemological, ethical, and political consequences of such a design, which is more than a mere technicality.

For the international far right, interested in dismantling the interventionist state in favor of the market and "free competition," it's clear why they are pushing this pedagogical project; but it's quite worrying that anti-globalization sectors fail to notice the hidden interventionism of this curricular framework.
