A middle school boy threatened to rape a 10-year-old classmate before a school dance in January, a lawsuit claims.

The student who made the threat was part of a group chat named "Diddy Party," where he and his classmates talked about raping and having sex with girls.

The lawsuit questions the response of the middle school and school district where the students attend class.

The group chat where middle schoolers talked about raping their peers was called the "Diddy Party," in reference to music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs' drug-fueled sex parties.

It's also where one student allegedly confessed to sexually harassing and threatening to rape a 10-year-old classmate, a newly filed lawsuit states.
