Will Pueblo food trucks maintain their dominance at the Governor's Plate?

Sample Colorado's best produce at the Colorado State Fair's Governor's Plate competition Aug. 26.

Five food trucks — 4 from Pueblo — will be cooking with Colorado corn, honey, and of course, Pueblo chile.

Sweet and savory samples will be served up for the guest judge and the public.

The finest of Colorado produce, from corn to Pueblo chiles to local honey, will be among the ingredients showcased during the Aug. 26 Governor's Plate competition at the Colorado State Fair.

Five food trucks — four of them from Pueblo — are ready to roll out their best fare for the competition. They include Stoke Pizza, Mother Smothers, MunchKings and Mollie & Co of Pueblo, as well as the MC 2 Ice Cream Truck from Arvada.
