Hurricane Erin causes dangerous rip currents as it churns in the Atlantic alongside East Coast

Nearly 40 million people are under flood alerts on the East Coast as Hurricane Erin barrels past the U.S. While it's not forecasted to make landfall in the U.S., it's brought tropical storm conditions to parts of North Carolina. CBS News meteorologist Rob Marciano reports.
