An inquest will be held next month into the 2019 death of a Sudbury man at a mine site near River Valley.
Dr. Harry Mikael Voogjarv, regional supervising coroner for the North Region, announced Wednesday that the inquest into the death of Mark Paul Joseph Beskorowany will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 15. Bonnie Goldberg will be the presiding officer and Alessandra Hollands will be the inquest counsel.

Beskorowany, 54, died at Health Sciences North on Aug. 21 from injuries sustained while working at a surface mining site in River Valley on Aug.19, 2019. An inquest into his death is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
River Valley is located about 100 km northeast of Sudbury and is the site of palladium exploration.
