As we head into the weekend, we will have one main chance for rain around the Northland, and that will come Friday evening around much of the region as a cold front moves through. The heaviest rain early will start in northern Minnesota, and gradually slide south through the night as the cold front moves out of the region.

By Saturday, we may still be dealing with a stray shower or two for far northern Minnesota, however the focus for most will be shifting to the chance for some haze, and a blustery northwest wind. As we go to Saturday night, that's where a stray shower could occur across the arrowhead, but any rain will likely be light, and most will remain dry.
