(NEXSTAR) — The Powerball jackpot has yet again grown after no ticket was able to match the numbers drawn Wednesday night. The jackpot now sits just outside of the top 10 largest in the game's history.
The numbers drawn on Wednesday — 31, 59, 62, 65, 68, and Powerball 5 — included one "overdue" number, but it wasn't enough to produce a winner. The drawing represented the 35th since the Powerball jackpot, then estimated at $204.5 million, was last won on May 31 by a ticket sold in California.
Without a winner, the jackpot now sits at an estimated $700 million with a cash value of $316.3 million. That puts it at No. 11 on the list of largest Powerball jackpots since 2003.
It's not far from cracking into the top 10, either. The current jackpot is about $31.2 million from surpassing a 2021
