A young Espanola woman is facing an impaired charge after getting pulled over in Webbwood.

Manitoulin OPP said officers conducted the traffic stop around noon on Aug. 14 as the individual was suspected of being a suspended driver.

Police conducted a field sobriety test and the driver was arrested.

Dawn Landry-Gibson, 20, from Espanola, was charged with impaired driving, as well as driving while prohibited.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola on Oct. 6.
