The Holyoke High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee announced on Thursday that six athletes, multiple teams, one coach, and one contributor will be commemorated during its annual enshrinement on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Wyckoff Country Club, with a time to be announced.

Those honored members are as followed:

Athletes

The first is Ron DeRoy, who was a three-year starter and two-time captain of the Holyoke Trade basketball team. DeRoy was also a four-year starter in baseball and won the Bi-County League batting title during his senior year in 1975.

Next on the list is Mike Levin, who was a two-time All-Western Mass. selection for hockey and baseball. Levin also led the Purple Knights to a state championship in 1985, thanks to his impressive batting average of .450.
