The Chase's Mark Labbett stunned viewers when he appeared to fall asleep during a romantic meal on Celebs Go Dating .

The quizzer - best known as The Beast on the ITV show - signed up for the latest series of the E4 dating programme in a bid to find love following his split from girlfriend Hayley Palmer.

Mark was matched with a woman named Natalie, but the date didn't get off to a great start when the 60-year-old appeared to nod off mid-chat - then tried to drink from a tealight holder.

The pair were getting to know each other over dinner when Mark started to look sleepy, yawning and closing his eyes as he chewed his food. It didn't go unnoticed by the show's narrator Rob Beckett, who wondered if the s
