MIAMI GARDENS — Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel announced he plans for starters to appear in Saturday night’s preseason finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Speaking ahead of Thursday’s joint practice with the Jaguars, he said how much they play will depend on their performance at Thursday drills.
This would mark the first preseason in McDaniel’s four years at the helm in Miami he plays starters more than once.
It gives his first team an opportunity to prepare for a game day and go through a pregame routine like they will begin doing for the regular season in two weeks. In the Dolphins’ lone preseason home game, it also allows fans to see starters on the field at Hard Rock Stadium.
